But what kind of fabric would you recommend using for the weft? does it have to be adhesive? and where can you get fabric like that?
I'm sorry for the many questions, but I really hope you will help me ^^-
The fabric I'm talking about is the same kind people use to stiffen and/or support the clothing. My dictionary says it's called buckram, but I'm not sure since the wikipedia article [link] would suggest it's not exactly like that (though if not, it's very close - I think the prime difference is that the fabric I was using seemed much lighter).
So the adhesive in the fabric is mainly for support's sake. It melts and sticks to the fibre when you iron over it, and I think the result is much more durable that way.
I'm not sure what the stores are like over there, but I think you should be able to get fabric like this in just about any store that specializes in fabric.
